		<description>Yes, Arundel did score the highest of the San Carlos Elementary Schools with an API of 895 in 2006.  However, all of the San Carlos elementary schools were extremely close to each other in the scoring.  The new API scores are due out on August 31, 2007.  I will publish them once they are out.

While APIs are a great way to initiate an evaluation of a particular school, they should only be part of a much larger evaluation.  Other items that should be examined are how current students and parents feel about the particular school.  Also, you should look at the school as a whole including, teachers, the  administration and school specific programs.</description>
