However, all of the San Carlos elementary schools were extremely close to each other in the scoring. The new API scores are due out on August 31, 2007. I will publish them once they are out. While APIs are a great way to initiate an evaluation of a particular school, they should only be part of a much larger evaluation. Other items that should be examined are how current students and parents feel about the particular school. Also, you should look at the school as a whole including, teachers, the administration and school specific programs.
