Of the six real estate areas in San Carlos, Howard Park has been the most stingy in terms of inventory for 2008. If you are in the 1.5M-2M range, you may be pleasantly surprised to see 3 quality homes that will be coming on the market shortly and listed by John Shroyer of Remax Today.
1933 Eucalyptus Avenue will be on the market at $1,550,000. Nicely remodeled, spacious and at $1,550,000….it will not last long.
1950 Eucalyptus Avenue has been completely rebuilt by Joe Ravella. Approximately 2,800 square feet with four bedrooms upstairs, a library downstairs and great room toward the back of the home. Expect this home on the market just shy of the $2,000,000 mark.
928 Walnut Street has also been completely rebuilt by Joe Ravella. Very close to the north end of downtown Laurel, this home has been rebuilt as well. At approximately 2,000 square feet, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a generous lot size, this home should do well. It will be listed in the coming weeks for $1,695,000. Also, if you are addicted to Harmony yogurt (like my wife and kids), you will only be one block away : )

Any news on 1933 Eucalyptus? I thought this one would sell fast.
Hi TB,
I could not agree with you more. Out of all of the homes to come on the market this year, 1933 Eucalyptus has surprised me the most in terms of it not selling and its current price. With that being said, I would also call your attention to the fact that the current jumbo loan rates are as high as they have been in a long time. This week they breached the 8.0% mark, as compared with conforming loans at 6.0%. The current feeling in the mortgage market is that the jumbo rates will be coming down shortly, so you may have many who are on the sidelines waiting for that to happen.

Looks like 1933 Eucalyptu has been listed and then delisted twice. Any idea when it is coming back on the market?

Hi SG,
My understanding from the listing agent is that these folks had a change of heart and wanted to stay put.
